Hometown: Stephen, Minnesota
Where are you at in life now? I graduated high school last Spring and moved to Fargo, ND in the fall where I worked for the winter. Since then I have figured out what I want to go to school for. I will be starting on my electrical technology degree to become an electrician this coming fall and am really looking forward to getting started on that. Excited to see where God leads me in the future!
What takes up your spare time? During my spare time I like to read the Bible. My girlfriend and I study two chapters a week and work through different books of the Bible. Other things I like to do are workout, and spend time with my girlfriend.
Last good book you read: I don’t read much, but the last really good book I read was The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien.
Hidden talent? My hidden talent is probably a natural eye for photography.
Favorite Restaurant: Granite City Food & Brewery
What is your ideal vacation destination, and what would you do there? I really want to go to South Africa. I would like to spend time on the beach, go on hikes, and experience the countryside near and around Cape Town.
Favorite Bible Story: The Easter Story
A Bible verse that has been important to you this year: “For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the spirit reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:8
Favorite thing about Bluewater: I love the atmosphere at Bluewater, the love for Christ, the fun activities, and the community that ties it all together.
What I’m most excited about for this summer: I’m really looking forward to being able to hang out with all the kids and show them God’s love through everyday life at camp.
